Mable collects payment from clients on behalf of care workers for all sessions confirmed via their timesheet. Each care worker is then paid twice a week, by direct deposit to their nominated bank account.
If the client is paying by credit card, then payment to the care worker is usually made within 5 days of the timesheet being approved by the client.
If the client is paying by direct debit, it can take up to 10 days for payment to be collected from the client and paid to the care worker once the timesheet is approved. This is due to the additional processing time required by the bank.
Some organisations pay their care or support worker by invoice. All invoices are issued with 7-day payment terms however, some organisations can take up to 30 days to pay. Care workers may take this into consideration before choosing to work with clients that pay by invoice.
