Under the Mable agreement, your care worker is unable to accept cash payments. Payment must be made via the Mable platform in order to keep transparent records of transactions and to ensure the care workers are covered by the insurance that Mable arranges on their behalf. Care workers and clients will not be covered by insurance if there is no associated delivery record for an insurance event. For the safety of everyone in the community, we encourage you to get in touch if anyone asks you to arrange payment outside of the system.
